Yes. Prontio tries to meet the limit by reducing quality first and dimensions if needed. The final size is always shown.
WebP keeps transparency. When you choose JPG, transparent areas receive a white background. Image metadata is not kept.
No. Open Prontio in an up-to-date browser and select your files. Up to 20 files per batch, 20 MB per file and 50 MB in total. Images can be up to 24 megapixels and 16,000 pixels on either side.
Add your image and enter 100 or 200 under Desired size. Choose WebP to preserve transparency or JPG for a photo with a white background. Prontio tries to meet the limit by adjusting quality and, when necessary, dimensions. Check the final size before sending: the requested limit is not guaranteed.
Use compression when a form or attachment has a KB limit. For specific dimensions, such as 600 × 400 pixels, use the image resizer. Compare the original and result to decide whether the smaller file keeps the details you need.
