Will my image lose quality?
JPG and WebP compression can remove details. You control the quality and can compare the preview with the original before downloading. Keep the original when you need maximum quality.
Can I choose a size limit in KB?
Yes. Prontio tries to meet the limit by reducing quality first and dimensions if needed. The final size is always shown.
What happens to transparency?
WebP keeps transparency. When you choose JPG, transparent areas receive a white background. Image metadata is not kept.
Do I need to install anything or create an account?
No. Open Prontio in an up-to-date browser and select your files. Up to 20 files per batch, 20 MB per file and 50 MB in total. Images can be up to 24 megapixels and 16,000 pixels on either side.
